  My wife and I always enjoy the thin crust pizza here.  I love swinging by even it's to just grab a single slice (but it's never just a single slice!) I also recommend the meatball parm sandwich.. great sauce and crunchy sub roll!

  Red Moon is a classic pizza establishment that's been a staple during my time in the greater Princeton area. Although the storefront is unassuming, this place has been around for ages, despite all the new renovations to Mercer Mall. I typically stop by when I'm shopping in the Lawrenceville area and need a quick bite to eat. The food is good and gets the job done- I normally enjoy their Sicilian slices and eggplant parm sub. Although I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, this is a good spot to grab some sustenance during a day of shopping or errands due to its convenient location.

  I was recommended by Red Moon by a friend and decided to visit this pizzeria yesterday.  I was not disappointed.  My family and I shared a medium pepperoni pizza.  I can say without a doubt that this is the best pizza that I have tried in New Jersey.  The cheese and sauce are great.
  The employees here are fantastic.  They are friendly and outgoing.  The prices here are very reasonable.  If you are driving on Route 1 and are in the Trenton area, make the trip to Red Moon Pizza.  You will not be disappointed.

  Red Moon Pizza in Mercer Mall, Lawrenceville, NJ, is a rare survivor of the upgrades going on at this commercial center on Route 1. The newer tenants, Nordstrom's Rack and REI dwarf this little parlor, but it carries on with more than 30 years of history behind it. The young brothers and cousins that began this shop have been replaced by guys that look like the fathers and great uncles of the originals.
  
  When I wore a younger man's clothes I was a regular 2 slice a week addict at Red Moon. The old office was nearby, and when a break was needed in the middle of the day, this was my sanctuary. A couple of wedges - regular and sausage - or a eggplant parmesan sub relieved the stress long enough for me to find a second wind for the later day slog toward evening.
  
  Their grub was solid, tasty and filling. Around $5 with a cold drink, and I was a happy fella. I came so often that when I walked in the door and down the long aisle to the counter, they had already thrown the slices in the oven to reheat well done.
  
  I stopped in recently after an absence of many years while at the mall for other shopping. The place looked the same, except older and in need of refreshing. Who doesn't? The pie was as my memory recorded. Still crisp with slightly salty red sauce. A little more expensive.
  
  Sometimes it not about the food and ambiance alone, but about where it takes you in the story of your life. Red Moon takes me back to a good place.
